Earl's Court Loft - Cabinets

In our latest project, we had the pleasure of collaborating with the talented Olga Ashby to bring to life a unique set of cabinets for a loft in Earls Court, London. One particular standout piece was the curved oval TV cabinet, which is truly one of a kind. Inspired by Olga's vision, we worked to transform her idea into a functional and aesthetically pleasing piece of furniture.

 

The main challenge we faced was striking the perfect balance between functionality and design. We wanted to ensure that the cabinet could be opened in the correct way, while also providing ample support against the wall without compromising the aesthetic. Through careful craftsmanship and attention to detail, we were able to overcome this hurdle and create a piece that seamlessly merged form and function.

 

To maintain a cohesive look, we designed the other cabinet with a rattan front that not only added a touch of elegance but also allowed for efficient heat distribution. This clever feature ensures that the radiator's presence remains discreet, enabling the heat to travel effortlessly without compromising the overall aesthetic of the space.

Working alongside Olga Ashby was a true pleasure, as her creativity and unique ideas pushed us to explore new design boundaries. Together, we were able to create a set of cabinets that not only elevated the visual appeal of the Earls Court loft but also incorporated practical elements that enhanced the functionality of the space.

 

The collaboration between our team and Olga exemplifies the power of merging different perspectives and expertise to bring innovative and visually striking designs to life. The cabinets in this loft not only serve as functional storage solutions but also make bold statements, showcasing the harmonious blend of artistry and functionality that defines exceptional design.
